What are the best methods for charging my Trucase Battery Case?

Connect the Trucase to a power source using the USB cable that came with your pack. The USB cable can be plugged in to your computer or any "works with iPhone" wall-plug-style power source with USB out. You can either charge the Trucase Battery Case with the iPhone inserted or charge them separately.

Can I sync my iPhone while the Trucase Battery Case is still connected?

You can charge and sync your iPhone to iTunes without removing it from its Case via the included USB cable. cool huh?

How many charge cycles do you get in the Trucase Battery Case ?

The Trucase Battery Case is rechargeable for over 400 cycles. (That's full cycles; partial cycles don't count as full. So, you can charge your Battery Case 10% of the way 10 times before it counts as a complete cycle.) Don't be afraid to top it off! It's only after 400 full cycles that its fully charged capacity will be less than 75% of the capacity when it's new.

Does the Trucase Battery Case block the speaker, microphone or cameras?

Of course not! In fact, the case is designed to act as a virtual speaker box. Its forward-facing audio ports redirect and enhance sound from the bottom of the iPhone to the front, resulting in the rich, full speaker sound quality.

Does the Trucase Battery Case interfere with antenna reception?

Will I always receive more than double the battery life with my Trucase Battery Case?

We cannot guarantee that you will receive more than double the battery life. The amount of additional battery you will receive depends on a variety of factors, which are different for every user.

What is the Return Policy of Trucase Battery Cases?

Trucase reserves the right to claim a 15 % Restocking Fee upon Return.

Do I need to charge my iPhone and Trucase Battery case separately?

Nope! You can charge your iPhone and your Trucase at the same time or separately. Your iPhone will be the first to charge, then your Trucase.

How do I know when my Trucase Battery case is fully charged?

On each Trucase Battery Case there are 4 LED lights. The Trucase case is ready to go when all 4 lights full (not blinking).

Should I leave my Trucase Battery Case switched “on” all day while my iPhone is at 100% battery?

To get the most out of your Trucase Battery case, make sure you press the “on” button only after your iPhone battery is low. This way you will get the most out of case’s battery and will avoid the annoying buzzing sounds your iPhone makes when it starts charging.

When should I turn on my Trucase Battery case?

To get the most charge out of your case, turn it on around 10%-20% and keep the case charging without using it until your iPhone hits 80% battery life. From there, you can either wait until it gets low again or top it off when the battery is less than 80%. Apple’s batteries fast-charge to 80%, then switch to trickle charging for the last 20%.

I am only getting one channel or the other, or no sound when using my headphone adapter.

Make sure the adapter is fully inserting into the headphone port. If it’s loose you might run into audio issues.

Will a screen protector work with the Trucase Battery Case?

Screen protectors aren’t recommended for our cases. Please use caution when applying one, as it might affect your ability to remove your iPhone from the case.

I’m getting a weird error message, “this accessory is not compatible with the iPhone.” What should I do?

This could be a couple of things: 1. USB cable not plugged in all the way 2. You are using a 3rd party cable NOT supplied by Trucase 3. Your Battery Case is not receiving as much as it needs to charge your iPhone. Try charging your iPhone and Battery Case separately overnight for 1-2 nights and it should fix the error.

How come I only got “X” amount of charge from my Trucase Battery Case? Why don’t I get more?!

The charge you will receive heavily depends on how you use your phone and its settings.

My Trucase Battery Case isn't charging.

If both the iPhone battery and the Trucase Battery Case battery are dead or very low, they may not charge simultaneously if the iPhone is inserted in the Battery Case, in this case, the iPhone may chirp intermittently. If this happens simply detach the iPhone from the Battery Case and charge them separately.
